Legal action should only be considered after all amicable collection efforts have failed. At this point, moving forward with litigation can demonstrate seriousness and increase the chance of recovery—especially where the debtor has assets that can be pursued under law. 
 
What to Expect if Your Claim Goes to Court When you authorize your claim to be forwarded for legal action?
RMS works with a network of qualified attorneys worldwide. Depending on where your debtor is located, legal representation will be arranged either by RMS or chosen directly by you. Importantly, no lawsuit will be filed without your prior written authorization.

Costs and Fees

• Court Costs: Filing fees, service of process, and related charges vary by jurisdiction. 
• Attorney’s Suit Fees: Cover preparation, filing, and court appearances. 

 
Clients will always be informed in advance of potential costs before any action is taken.
